ROAD TRAVEL WITH KIDS AN EXERCISE IN SMART PACKING
“When traveling by car, you don’t want to take a
lot of stuff with you. On our recent road trip through California,
Oregon, and Nevada, we made a conscious effort to pack the kids’
stain-proof clothes, knowing we would not have access to laundry
facilities. Without them, we definitely would have had to change
clothes several more times. They make great travel clothes.”
“While we were traveling, we were feeding Cade in his
car seat and he was constantly spilling – so he was frequently
sitting in dropped food,” Joni said. “But, all the
stains on his Old Navy pants have come clean – either
just by wiping or following a washing in the laundry. He wears
the pants non-stop. Except for the few days that the two pairs
are in the wash, he is never out of them.”
“Cade tends to eat with his hands and to then put his
hands all over me, especially my pants. It was a great feeling
knowing I didn’t have to worry about getting my own clothes
ruined. Plus, at one point, after we were in the car for 13
hours, I came out looking fresh and wrinkle-free. I’m
not an ironing person, so it was great to look like my pants
had been ironed – when one hadn’t been near them!”
“The best thing about the Nano-Tex enhanced clothes is
that I can be relaxed about the kids and their spills,”
Joni said. “The psychological benefit is huge –
I just don’t worry about it anymore.”
