DEVELOPER
LOOKS PROFESSIONAL DESPITE MUDDY CONSTRUCTION SITES
What Jill wears to work varies depending upon her activities for
the day, but she always makes an effort to look put together.
“You want to look professional for meetings, however, you
don’t want to look too dressed up to be on a construction
site,” she said. “If I know I am going to be outside,
I usually wear jeans and a blazer.”
Because Jill usually drives to work sites, her car has become
her second home. And, eating or drinking while traveling always
seems to be a recipe for disaster.
“Normally, I take off my blazer when I get into the car,
to make sure it doesn’t get wrinkled or spilled on,”
she said. “But, with my Nordstrom Smartcare blazer I don’t
bother. Once, I spilled a Coke on it and was able to wipe it
right off with a napkin. It never looked like anything happened
to it.”
“The biggest benefit to the spill-proof clothes is you
can just keep going – it wipes off so you don’t
look like a slob,” Jill said. “You don’t have
to make excuses about your appearance.
